DualShock 3 Rad Review Roundup

I’m in the mood for alliteration. Kombo.com recently posted DualShock 3: Yay Or Nay?, a game-by-game breakdown of how well Playstation 3 games shake, rattle and roll with the new controller.
The reaction is mixed. Burnout Paradise, for example, feels good. Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, less so. But overall it’s an “Eh, whataya got to lose” situation. Playstation just doesn’t feel like Playstation without DualShock.
Kombo.com notes that you might not have a choice, anyway:
It is important to note, however, that SCEA has announced a gradual phasing-out of the SIXAXIS in favor of the DS3; by June, it’s possible that only the DualShock 3s will still be available in stores…and that just might prompt a price drop down to the regular $49.99 mark.
Well thar ya go, Pilgrim.

I love my Dualshock 3. Of course, I’m using it to play a PS1 game, Metal Gear Solid, but it’s still really cool.
Sweet, rumbley, blue-toothy goodness.

I got a Dual Shock 3 so I can use one of the items in Metal Gear Solid 3. I also needed another controller, so this worked out for me.

I still haven’t bought mine (boo!). This special edition MGS4 is going to eat up a lot of cash, so I’m saving up for it.

I only got to play the last few hours of MGS3 w/ the DS3. Makes me wish I’d had it since the beginning.
