PlayStation Store redesign launches on April 15th

Great news, PlayStation faithful! The PlayStation Store will launch its new look on April 15th, finally. Among the so-called improvements are its navigation and new content. The revamp is said to be in response to a survey last year which showed that many PlayStation Store users wanted a better interface and easier navigation.
To accompany the launch, the online service would come with new content available from April 17th, consisting of the launch of the Metal Gear Online premiere beta. Also available will be Warhawk: Operation Broken Mirror and Lair’s Diabolical Dragons Pack and Skyguard Upgrade pack.
There will also be a new GTA IV trailer, and a Sega Superstars tennis demo. The revamp will not affect PSN accounts or the virtual wallet system.

I just hope they release Medievil 2 as a downloadable game on there sometime soon. Already picked up the first one, and I’m chomping at the bit to play the sequel again.

I’m looking forward to the new store — the old one had a lot of great content, but it was a pain to get to.
