Yahtzee On Chains of Olympus and Me On Yahtzee

Yes. Take that title in any sexual manner you like. I have a fever of about 100 and I’ve been cheated because I feel like shit, but I’m not hallucinating.
Yahtzee has posted his usual Wednesday rant, this time for God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP.

Yahtzee’s kind of an interesting individual because I […]

Spryo at the Movies

Spyro, the little purple dragon that could, is not as popular as he was during his Playstation heydey. His movie debut is therefore being met with mixed reactions somewhere along the lines of, “Oh, how cute!” and “Who gives a rip?”
Kotaku reminds us that the movie (which will be computer animated, unsurprisingly) will likely have […]

No More DDR Doubles

My short-lived experiment playing Dance Dance Revolution with two dance pads has been ended while I still have my skull intact.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to jump from pad to pad when both are situated on a hardwood floor. Especially a hardwood floor covered with cat hair. You wouldn’t know it, but that […]

Something Weird on the PS3

We all know that the Playstation 3 is powerful enough to become sentient and kill everyone within a mile radius. That’s what’s cool about it. What’s less cool is that games like the highly-anticipated Ghostbusters must be held back to make it as similar as possible to the Xbox360 version.
Terminal Reality President Mark Randel says:
“The […]

Kotaku: SixAxis Suxx On GTA 4

Ah ha ha, that title is the height of clever.
Once again, Sony’s half-baked attempt to coup the Wii with SixAxis motion controls crashes and burns…quite literally. Kotaku reports that SixAxis controls bring absolutely nothing to Grand Theft Auto 4 except “frustration and burning helicopter chassis.”
Brian Crecente says:
When Mike told me that he didn’t like the […]

Sonic’s Lost History

GamesRadar has an extensive look at Sonic X-Treme—”The Greatest Sonic Game Never Made,” which met an untimely death as a half-assembled Sega Saturn sample.
Check the feature out if you’re a game history nerd like myself. You also owe it to the development team. Lead designer Christian Senn worked so hard on the game, it nearly […]

Mega Man Art Galore

My dear friends, I realise that we’re often shafted by God, destiny, and the politicians that we elect. The world can be a dark, cruel place that is not kind to you or the peanut butter cookies that you bake (”God dammit, why did they all stick together?!”).
However, we must remain positive and remember that […]

Bonus Round, START!

I don’t know whose car Mega64 commissioned for this project, but they’re a pretty good sport.

Man, Sagat Tiger’d the shit out of that window.

Game Tattoos: Would’jya or Wouldn’t'jya?

Mike Fahey over at Kotaku.com is proudly flaunting his first gaming tattoo. It’s of the black mage made famous by the Final Fantasy series. It’s cool, hip, and assurance that he’ll need to sport long sleeves for ever summer job interview from now ’til he’s 65.
I like tattoos (though I have none), but I’m undecided […]
