Yahtzee Makes the Devil Cry
Yahtzee, famous for owning a set of lungs with the capacity of shopping bags, has unleased his review of Devil May Cry 4:
DMC 4 has consistently recieved favourable reviews, but it’s not as if Yahtzee doesn’t bring up some good points. Respawning enemies, except in special cases where it actually does contribute to the gameplay and/or story (and you’d better have a damn good reason for it, Mr Programmer) should be obsolite by now. I feel very accomplished when I waste an enemy and get to say a howdy doo to its maggot-seething corpse when I revisit a particular area of the game hours later. And maybe I should see a psychologist.
You might not agree, but I think everyone can say “WTF” to dice-driven board game bullshit in a game that’s all about rattling guns and swords.
