Blu-ray Triumphs Over Its Enemies, Drinks Blood.
The battle between the Blu-ray and HD DVD formats was hot and fierce until Warner Bros said “Screw this” and decided to exclusively support Blu-ray. Paramount and Universal will be doing likewise. Coupled with recent announcements that online video distributor Netflix and retail behemoth Wal-Mart will be going Blu-ray exclusive too, HD DVD’s jugular has more or less been snapped. At best, it can hope for a dignified death while the snow around its head steams crimson.
It’s good news for the Playstation 3, though, as well as for anyone who doesn’t want to relive another VHS/Beta War.

It’s funny you should mention this, since this is exactly the way I want to go out: dying gently in the snow after being mortally wounded by a media format.
