Here Come Some Old Challengers
Thanks to the combined powers of 2chan, Korean game site Ruliweb, Love and Kotaku, more news and artwork regarding Capcom’s Street Fighter IV has come into being. Guile, Blanka, Zangief, Dhalsim, E. Honda and Chun-Li are back along with Ken and Ryu (of course), and it’s safe to say they won’t be the only oldskool fighters looking to wail on old friends.
Kotaku argues that filling the roster with geriatrics isn’t such a good idea. I have to disagree, as long as there’s plenty of space for new fighters. Blanka was the first World Warrior I trained with. I’d like to conquer the world again by his side. Sigh…
So when do we get to pit the Street Fighters’ kids against one another? I want to see Ken’s kid (Mel) tear into Guile’s daughter (Amy? Chris?). Yeah, so what if Mel’s like five years old?
