Dancing Madly

I’m still doing the Dance Dance Revolution thing quite faithfully. I think I’ve lost weight, but my scale’s gone senile so I don’t know for sure. I’d say I average about four sessions a week; I’d like to bump it up to six. Right now I’m at 180+ calories burned for each go. I have chronic energy problems, so I have days where I feel like I could go on forever and I have days where I feel like I’m working out with a fat kid tied to my back.
(See enclosed picture.)
I’ve unlocked hella new songs, which is good because DDR Mario Mix (my introduction to the DDR world) had maybe twenty five songs, all of which were easy to get tired of within a week. One exception–Ms Mowz’s song. It made me very happy. Still does. I like Ms Mowz; more obligatory lists of Badass Female Game Characters need to include her. She’s from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door if you didn’t know, and you likely didn’t.
Currently my favourite songs (reminder: I’m playing DDR Max 2) to jump around to include Burning Heat!, End of the Century and The Whistle Song. I love whistles for some crazy reason. Apparently they’re very popular in European dance clubs. I don’t care about French cuisine or the Sistine Chapel or whatever; the whistles alone prove that residents of the Old World have good taste.
