Will Valve Patch Up The Orange Box?

By now everyone including your dog knows that the Playstation 3 port of The Orange Box is not so hot. Sites like 1UP and IGN complained about glitches, poor framerates, all the stuff you don’t even want to hear about after starving for half a year to buy your game system.
Take heart, though: According to AMN, Valve may be releasing a patch to make things right with Playstation 3 owners.
“While confronting an unruly forum poster regarding the PS3 version of the game, a Valve rep stated that, ‘I am sorry that you are unsatisfied with your game. I hope that we will be able to correct any major issues in the future.’”
Will this turn into Something Good? If so, thank you Valve, for helping us help you help us all.

For some reason, the fact that the rep says “your” game rather than “our” game strikes me as sinister. Or… something.

That’s probably because Valve didn’t make the PS3 version. It’s either some Freudian slip or a deliberate choice of words implying that it’s not “their” game.

I always keep a firm Freudian Grip so I never Freudian Slip.
