Sony and Boxing Day: What’s The Deal?

Hello and Happy Boxing Day to my Commonwealth brethren. I wince in sympathy for everyone working retail today; I remember being worked so hard on Boxing Day one year, I came down with a mysterious virus that put me out of work for three months. All that for one day of “deals.”
That’s it for the pity party. Anyone find any awesome price cuts? Red Flag Deals has some good things going, and you don’t even have to fight to the death for a parking space to take advantage.
Even though a lot of online deals exclaim “You save a bazillion dollars!!!” underneath the sale price, keep in mind that some merchants are still trying to shaft Canucks by keeping Canadian game prices nearly 30% above America’s. There was a time when the Canadian dollar meant nothing. Those days vanished with a green “Poof” earlier this year. Shop carefully.
Boxing “Day” tends to go on for the week of Limbo leading from Christmas to the New Year. The deals will last, but stock won’t, so act now! (”We can’t keep these things on the lot!”)
(Dell.ca) Playstation 3 bundle: 40GB, Spider Man 3 movie, two wireless SixAxis controllers. $369.00
(Amazon.ca) Lair (Play at own risk) for the Playstation 3. $34.99
(Amazon.ca) Dynasty Warriors for the PSP. $39.99.
Noticed anything cool and inexpensive in your neighbourhood? Drop me a line.
